Meet Kaw River Outfitters

Kaw River Outfitters, LLC is owned by Daniel Palenske and with the help of several other avid hunting guides, a successful operation was born seventeen years ago. Initially guiding waterfowl hunts only, Daniel took a leap into guiding deer hunts in 2018 after many satisfied waterfowl clients asked about the option to snag a trophy whitetail with KRO as well. Eventually expanding to include guiding turkey hunts in the Fall of 2019.

Daniel has lived in and hunted this area his entire life and grew to love waterfowl, turkey, and whitetail hunting as a young teenager. Always on the lookout for where and when ducks and geese are landing, he has infinite wisdom about waterfowl migration and flight patterns that prove valuable on the day of the hunt. Throughout the deer and waterfowl seasons, when not hunting, Daniel spends his days scouting migration and feeding areas optimizing success on the day of your hunt.

Daniel loves to be outdoors all year round… hunting (whitetails, waterfowl, coyotes, and morel mushrooms), fishing on the river, and boating on the lake with family and friends.

Daniel lives with his wife and two children in rural Wamego/Manhattan, Kansas.
